Well, at least we now know the answer to the seminal question, “Why did the superhero cross the road?”

I swear drawing this strip actually got really dark. The longer it took and the more I had to focus on any one detail, the more I began to actually worry about the baby and what the mother must be feeling; as if I were actually reading a serious comic. AND I ALREADY KNEW THE ENDING!
I hope the tension builds for you in the same way.
