Kind of a “King Midas” situation here.
King Modernity!
Plot twist: He used his power on himself and is actuay naked
That’s now an image I have in my head.
So thanks for that.
KILL IT!!!!! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!! Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn!!!!! AMSNH HIFH DINS CAHN!!!!! Sorry, I have myself under control. I just really hate modern art. Its all about pretentious assholes pretending to understand abstract concepts that by their very nature resist or just can not be clearly understood. A bunch of children crying for mommy to save them from the monsters. Ugh. Give me a Michelangelo, a guy that hated his boss so m7ch that he put an angel giving the pope a lewd gesture on the sistine chapel amd it was so high up no one noticed until recently. Give me a leonardo that made at least soms of his money as a forger and the rest designing weapons and sex toys for the nobility. Heh. Those were artists!
Tell us how you really feel!
Yeah apologies, lost my cool for a second. Really hate modern art.
The fhtagn I recognise, but I gotta ask: What is “AMSNH HIFH DINS CAHN!!!!!” about? That’s some epic freaking out there!
It’s Capslockian. A sub-dialect of Memespeak.
Garbled secret occult language of the unlidded eye. I switch between high and low speak when Im annoyed that badly. Horrible habit. Again apologies. Translates to roughly I will feed your testicles to your mother. I really hate modern art. A villian that creates it will make me cheer when Draco and Brad pull a team up to kick the pretentious nitwit into orbit. Brad has the force he needs draco to do the calculations. Heh.
I think some of the Heroes and Villains would be well suited to counterparts. I can see this guy squaring off against a Hero with incredible powers in Art – say the ability to conjure paintings or sculptures.
(And yes, intellectual property law can be a minefield. The counterpart game is as old as stories pretty much, and I’m happy for you to use this idea without any rights disputes. Gotta say though, you seem to be going way too diverse to need that trope. Maybe make a note of this if you start running out of ideas?)
Run out of ideas? ME?
Why I’ll have you know…
Umm….
Errrr
Hmmmmm
